Grace Mantissa is a spiritwalker who has witnessed her murder throughout the multiverse. One way or another, she knows hitmen are coming for her.

Because of her work as an informant for the Houston division of the FBI, she also knows why she’s being targeted. One of the last true travelling clairvoyants of her time, Grace has delivered more intel against the Sweet Sixteen – the Bayou City’s largest network of sex traffickers – than all the other agents combined.

What she doesn’t know is how a dark spirit got involved.

A war-hardened former Marine and falcon-shifter, Ian is more than capable of protecting Grace. But he’s tortured over the death of his mate in combat. After being court-martialed and discharged, he moved to an inhospitable canyon and basically withdrew from life. If he fails to defend another woman he cares about, they may as well dig two graves.

Across Dimensions

Seeking answers, Grace and Ian travel to the Crossroads in another dimension and discover their connection is more twisted than they realized. Whether they attempt to battle her human enemies – or risk both their lives by taking the fight to the spirit world – it’s only a matter of time before fate catches up with them both.
